TEAM ORDINAND
TEAM ORDINAND
What is an Ordinand ? An ordinand is someone who is in the process of training and preparing for ordination as a member of the clergy. The word comes from the Latin ordinandus, meaning "one to be ordained".
As an Ordinand, studying for an MA in Theology, my ministry blends creativity, passion and a deep commitment to community. I aim to bring a warmth, resilience and imagination to the church, seeking new ways to enable others to connect with faith in the everyday. I run a pioneer swim project called Aqua Bears and Prayers, and I am currently developing a Prayer Ministry Project. I’m also often found championing Eco Church initiatives in my community. I seek to minister with humility and integrity, believing in the sacredness of the everyday and the relentless possibility of hope.
Outside of my vocation, I am married with two daughters, now at university, and my home life is beautifully alive. Days are full of humour and patience, I love art and travel, having recently fulfilled my lifelong ambition to trek the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. With a mix of Ecuadorian and English heritage, my life has been shaped by a transient lifestyle that has taken me across various counties, countries and continents. My two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are my companions of the heart, reminding me daily that joy is small, steady and slightly furry.

Aqua Bears and Prayers is a welcoming toddler swim group combining water confidence with faith, friendship, and community.
Alongside swimming sessions, families enjoy Bible stories, prayer time, and singing, introducing little ones to God's love from an early age.
After swimming, everyone is invited to stay for refreshments, providing an opportunity to build friendships in a supportive community.

Lifepath Tiverton
Lifepath Tiverton invites Year 4 pupils to step into history and explore the Christian faith through the inspiring “life paths” of the Wesley family — Susanna, John, Charles and Samuel — whose story is closely connected with Tiverton.
Through drama, storytelling, music and creative activities, children discover how faith shaped the choices, character and courage of this remarkable family. Their journeys become a starting point — a springboard — for pupils to reflect on their own life path.
